About the Windsor District

Since the development of the Windsor Hills Shopping Center in 1959, the Windsor Area has been known as one of OKC's best destinations for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

For over half a century, many changes have taken place at the shopping center and in the corridor. Today, great things are underway.

Windsor District Business Group

The Windsor District now has a private Windsor District Business Facebook Group exclusively for our area. Our hope is that this social media tool will create a community of businesses in the area for relational and business networking.

The Heart of the Windsor District

A group of us came together to dedicate an additional feature at The Windsor Natural Habitat at NW 23rd and N Meridian.

This thriving greenspace is a testament to the incredible vision of Susan Atkinson, an OKC planner who worked tirelessly with the Windsor District and Jeremy Crites to transform this area from major decline into the beautiful habitat it is today.  Sadly, Susan passed away a few years ago.

We were honored to celebrate her passion and significant investment in our community. Her legacy lives on in every tree, every flower, and every peaceful moment spent here.
